Similarity
between yoga and meditation
Yoga is a practice of
physical postures and poses while integrating the mind, body and spirit through breath and meditation. Yoga is not only physically beneficial it includes health benefit like flexibility,
strength and balance, happier mood, mental clarity, decreased back pain, better sleep, a calmer mind.
Meditation is known to be a natural extension
from yoga, a mental discipline when a
person can focus intently. There are a variety of ways to practice meditation ,
the purpose of meditation is to become more connected with oneself and to
achieve inner peace and calm. The true goal of meditation is to quiet the mind.
Most people benefit more greatly
when practicing meditation and yoga in the morning. Creating a peaceful and
relaxing space in the home to
being relaxed, another important factor for proper meditation and yoga practice
is the breath.
